The Federal Highway Administration, in partnership with the Pima County Department of Transportation and their contractor, Intermountain West will be working to make improvements to Catalina Highway, at milepost 9.8 and milepost 10.5.

The work at milepost 10.5 includes modification of the existing storm water culvert. Work is expected to begin in early September 2009 and will be completed by February 1, 2010. The funding for this project is provided by the Federal Highway Administration and is estimated to cost $1.16M.
