Pima County frequently calls for citizen volunteers to provide input and assist in decision making on major transportation improvement projects. The Community Advisory Committee for the Craycroft Road Project is made up of eleven members who own property; reside immediately adjacent to the project, or who reside in the general area of the project. The function of the Craycroft Road Project CAC is primarily to provide input and feedback during the preparation of the Environmental Assessment and Mitigation Report (EAMR) for the project. The EAMR includes review and deciding on noise abatement methods, streetscape themes, architectural treatments, street lighting, access control and mitigation, view shed treatments, landscaping theme, pedestrian facilities, equestrian crossings, alternative travel modes, and cost considerations.
The Craycroft CAC meets on a regular basis and members of the public are welcome to attend.
