La Canada Road Improvement Project:
River Road to Ina Road

The Department of Transportation is planning to improve La Canada Drive between River Road and Ina Road.

The proposed improvements consist of widening the existing roadway in order to improve safety, reduce congestion, improve operations and increase mobility. Some of the potential improvements that will be considered and evaluated include; additional travel lanes, a raised landscape median, multi-use lanes, drainage cross-culverts, outside curbs with storm drain facilities, provision for pedestrians and equestrian uses, and noise mitigation for adjacent residential areas where warranted.
